Spring 2021 Photo Story

In less than two weeks, it will be a year since the first shelter-in-place was announced; a year of attending class virtually, a year of socially distancing ourselves from people and a year of isolation.

My routine has been mostly the same during this year of attending school from home. The first thing I do in the morning is to make a cup of coffee and check the mail. Then I attend my virtual class, sometimes in my bed and other time at my study desk. I go out only when necessary, like buying groceries or shopping, and sometimes to go out in nature for fresh air.

In my free time, I usually read books, which has been a big part of my routine and helped me in many ways, mostly to keep myself sane. If I do not have a book in my hand, then I am on my laptop, either binge-watching a show or a series of YouTube videos.

Please excuse my dirty mask, but I guess people who wear makeup can relate to this, a mask full of foundation and lipstick. I make sure that I have my mask, AirPods and hand sanitizer in my bag before going out.
